Fashion and wine together for the coolest streets in Italy. La Vendemmia is back, the event that for two weeks links Via Montenapoleone, Via Condotti and other shopping areas in Milan and Rome with glamorous drinks and elegant tasting.
From 8 to 14 October, the over 100 boutiques in the Milan fashion district provide the perfect opportunity to discover the great names of the wine, hotel and restaurant industries.
The Wine Tasting on Friday 12 October at Palazzo Serbelloni, the historic building that every year hosts the fashion shows of important maisons such as Ermanno Scervino, is a date for your diary, to sample a rich selection of labels chosen by the Grandi Cru d’Italia committee.
Throughout the week, the best restaurants of the city centre will offer a special menu with a glass of wine matched to the food.
“We have created a unique event that combines two flagships of Made in Italy products,” Guglielmo Miani, President of MonteNapoleone District, explains. He continues: “This year again it takes place in the country's capital, and thanks to the cooperation agreement signed with Nanjing Xi Road, in 2019 we will organise an event following the same format in the main luxury shopping street in Shanghai.”
Before the coming Chinese harvest, people who find themselves unable to take part in the tasting in Milan can catch up in Rome from 15 to 20 October. It is the second edition for the Eternal City, after a premiere that saw the participation of 60 shops, 14 luxury hotels and 25 award-winning restaurants.

In Rome the formula includes two features: the VIP Lounge Experience, reserved for guests and sponsors in the five-star hotels in the city centre, and the official app to get the latest updates on events in the programme.
There are also cocktail parties and exclusive visits to historic palazzi in Rome, while enjoying a glass of wine from the best local and international producers.
